John Scott

John Scott has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Robotics Instructor at Ironside State School. In 2011, they worked as a Site Engineer for Baulderstone and a Robotics Instructor for Brisbane Boys' College. In 2012, they were Chair of the Queensland Mechanical Branch for Engineers Australia and Co Founder and CTO at Cartesian Co. where they led the engineering team to develop Chemical, Mechanical & Electrical aspects of Cartesian's Argentum PCB printer. In 2013, they were a Facilitator at The Edge (State Library). From 2016 to 2020, they worked at MOVUS, first as Engineering Operations Manager and then as Hardware Manager. Most recently, they have been working as a Researcher at MostlyMicro, researching processes, techniques and materials for prototyping metal and plastic microstructures.

John Scott attended Brisbane Boys College from 2001 to 2006. John then went on to The University of Queensland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering between 2008 and 2012.
