Alejo Arango

Alejo Arango has been working in the media and entertainment industry since 2003. In 2003, they founded and produced PALOALTO. In 2007, they became the Managing Director of RCN TV, where they created and managed Colombia's biggest film fund. In 2009, they co-founded and became a member of the Board of Directors of ARTHA Investment Group and Contento Films. Alejo also co-founded and became a member of the Board of Directors of Cytogel IRT - INSTITUTE FOR TISSULAR REGENERATION, and the company was sold to a multinational pharmaceutical. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Mowies Inc, a MediaTech company providing tools for creators to share, distribute, and monetize. In 2021, they became a Startup Mentor for Techstars and MassChallenge. In 2022, they were appointed Chief Evangelist of DEGA.

Alejo Arango attended Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Diseño Gráfico with a focus in imagen en movimiento, as well as degrees in Administración de empresas and Gerencia de proyectos.
