Founded by a hiking educator with 34+ years of multi-day hiking experience and a background as a senior wilderness guide in Tasmania, Mowser exists to solve a simple problem: too many hikers are either paralysed by overthinking or underprepared and winging it. Both lead to the same place: missed adventures.

Through YouTube content, a weekly newsletter, digital courses, and curated gear resources, Mowser teaches a systems-based approach to multi-day hiking preparation. 

The core methodology, the TRAILS framework, covers Training, Route Planning, Appropriate Gear, Intake & Water, Logistics, and Safety. Everything a hiker needs to confidently step onto a 5–10 day trail without guessing, overpacking, or carrying their anxiety on their back.
