Avery Crespi

Avery Crespi began their professional career in 2019 as a Junior System Administrator at GLENTEL Inc. In 2021, they joined Moz as a Software Engineer Intern, where they developed software using Scala and Ruby to solve problems in large-scale data collection, aggregation, and storage with a focus on performance and readability. They also assisted senior developers with building data ingestion & analytics pipelines for a large scale of data refreshed daily, as well as worked with terabyte-scale databases performing a variety of tasks such as data partitioning, normalization, and sharding. Later in 2021, Avery was promoted to an Intermediate Software Engineer at Moz, continuing to work on the same tasks as before.

Avery Crespi attended Simon Fraser University from 2016 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Science.
