Casey Coates

Casey Coates has worked in the tech industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Web Designer for AdReady, where they designed and maintained hundreds of banner ads for use in the customer facing editor, designed marketing material for trade shows, created white labeled websites for top clients, and designed and iterated various landing pages. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a User Experience Designer for Demand Media, where they worked collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers, leading design throughout the planning and development life cycle. Casey was responsible for generating cutting edge web designs that reflect world-class web properties, designing and presenting wire frames, and coding approved concepts utilizing best practices of HTML5, CSS3, and leveraging metric reports such as A/B testing, source ID tracking, and Google analytics to report on the effectiveness of released UI. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a User Interface Engineer for Rightside. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been a Software Engineer for Moz.

Casey Coates attended The Art Institutes, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
