Mostafa Shehata

Mostafa Shehata has extensive work experience in the field of data science and research. Mostafa currently holds the position of Staff Data Scientist | NLP at Mozn since February 2023. Prior to joining Mozn, Mostafa worked as a Senior Data Scientist | NLP at the same company from November 2021 to February 2023. Before Mozn, they were employed by Seera Group as a Senior Data Scientist from December 2019 to October 2021. Mostafa also worked as a Senior Data Scientist | AI, NLP, and ML at Etisalat from October 2017 to November 2019. Their previous roles include Research Assistant at Qatar University from October 2016 to September 2017, Research Engineer at ADAPT Centre from December 2015 to September 2016, and Research Engineer at IST Networks from November 2014 to November 2015. Mostafa also had short-term positions as a Text Mining Software Engineer at Trendak from June 2014 to October 2014 and as a Research Software Engineer at Kngine from May 2013 to October 2013. Prior to entering the industry, Mostafa was a student at the Faculty of Computers and Information - Cairo University from 2007 to 2011. Mostafa's skills and experience encompass various areas such as NLP, AI, ML, text mining, and research.

Mostafa Shehata completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computers and Information at Cairo University, from 2007 to 2011. Mostafa then went on to pursue Postgraduate Courses for the Preliminary Master Program in Computer Science from the same institution, from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Practical Deep Learning with PyTorch" from Udemy in August 2018.
