Muhammad E. has over twenty years of experience in the software engineering industry. Muhammad began their career in 2000 as a Space Systems Engineer at NARSS, where they were a member of the EgyptSat-1 core engineering team and designed and developed satellite navigation software for EgyptSat-1. In 2006, they became a Lead Software Engineer at Sahm Group Inc., where they worked on the development of E-Learning Software Systems and web development on the .NET stack. In 2008, they joined maidis as a Lead Software Engineer, researching and developing advanced healthcare software systems, distributed systems design, implementation, and verification. In 2012, they moved to Microsoft as a Software Engineer (Data Scientist), where they researched and developed machine learning solutions applied to query understanding in MS Bing Cross-Lingual Search. In 2015, they joined DeepMind as a Research Engineer, researching and developing AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), deep neural networks, and reinforcement learning. Muhammad left DeepMind for family reasons and in the same year, they joined the Qatar Computing Research Institute as a Senior Research Engineer. Currently, they are the Chief Data Scientist at Mozn.
Muhammad E. attended Ain Shams University from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Engineering.
