Alan Lund

Alan Lund has held various key roles in the technology and materials industry, starting as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2002. Alan co-founded Xtalic Corporation in 2005 and served as the Chief Technology Officer until 2021. Alan was the Chief Technology Officer at Braidy Industries from 2018 to 2020. Alan also founded and led Veloxint as CEO from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they serve as the Executive Vice President of Magnetics at MP Materials since 2021.

Alan Lund completed their Bachelor of Science in Materials Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1993 to 1997. Alan then went on to earn their PhD in Materials Science from Northwestern University from 1997 to 2002.
