Ruben Tervoort has extensive work experience in the field of IT, spanning over 25 years. Ruben began their career as an IT Project Employee at Hobbit BV in 1996. From there, they worked as IT Support at UNESCO-IHE, and later as a System Administrator at Mastermate Tackenberg. In 2001, Ruben joined ING IT Academy as an IT Trainee, where they stayed until 2005.

Afterwards, Ruben transitioned to ING Nederland and took on various roles, including Junior IT Administrator, IT Administrator, and Experienced IT Administrator. During their time at ING Nederland, Ruben gained valuable experience in IT administration.

In 2010, Ruben joined ING as a DevOps Engineer Infrastructure. In this role, they focused on monitoring solutions and automated deployment, taking the lead on the interfacing layer with customers and other monitoring solutions. Ruben'sresponsibilities included developing and implementing monitoring solutions using ElasticSearch, Kafka, Grafana/Graphite, and other open-source products. Ruben also played a key role in automating deployment with Puppet profiles and Ansible playbooks, as well as improving automated testing with Jenkins. Ruben was instrumental in implementing monitoring solutions for the new ING Private Cloud.

During their time at ING, Ruben also served as a Scrum Master for two Scrum teams. In this capacity, they coached the teams to work according to Agile/Scrum principles and helped improve their maturity and velocity. Ruben also advised management and product owners on process improvements.

Ruben's most recent work experience is as the Senior DevOps Engineer/Team Lead DevOps at MPO, starting in 2018. Further details about this role were not provided.
