Inspiring hope and supporting recovery for people with mental illness by establishing and operating social, vocational, recreation, advocacy and housing programs that support people in their own communities.

MPA Society is a registered charitable organization (or non-profit) that was founded in 1971.  The Society works to support people with mental health challenges through offering a variety of supports and services, including housing and advocacy.

Today, MPA operates 30 programs throughout the lower mainland including:
•	Court services
•	Supported and Licensed housing programs
•	A Resource Centre in Kitsilano
•	Housing and hotel outreach services
•	Modular Housing Program in Downtown Vancouver

We have over 360 employees and an annual operating budget of approximately $17 million. We are an HEABC affiliate employer, working with the same collective agreements as Health Authorities and other non-profits in the mental health sector.

The Program Management team at MPA Society oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of various social, vocational, recreational, advocacy, and housing initiatives designed to support individuals with mental illness. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, managing budgets, ensuring program compliance with CARF accreditation standards, and fostering an environment conducive to recovery and community integration. With a focus on operational excellence, the team plays a critical role in enhancing the quality and reach of MPA’s services.
