From its preeminent amplifiers and Raman fiber lasers used in the telecommunications industry, MPB expanded its product offering to fiber amplifiers and fiber lasers for the aerospace and industrial markets, where power efficiency, reliability and compact size are fundamental requirements. With a pedigree for reliability, these lasers are rapidly being adopted to replace their DPSS counterparts.  MPB’s fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, mode-locked fiber lasers, and visible fiber lasers feature linearly polarized outputs, exceptional beam quality, and outstanding stability.  

The MPB’s technical staff is composed of optical, electrical, mechanical and software engineers and scientists, backed by experienced project management.  MPB’s commitment to excellence is evidenced in both the dedication of its people and the performance of its products. 

The Company reinvests approximately 20% of its sales each year into internal R&D. This allows MPB to maintain its technology leadership position.

The Engineering team at MPB Communications is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance optical amplifiers, Raman fiber lasers, and customized fiber optic systems. Comprised of optical, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, the team ensures the products meet stringent requirements for power efficiency, reliability, and compact size. The team also supports R&D initiatives to maintain MPB's technological leadership in the telecommunications, aerospace, industrial, scientific, medical, and military markets.
