Sumon Choudhury

Sumon Choudhury is a seasoned visual effects professional with extensive experience in compositing and supervision across various prestigious projects. Currently serving as Lead Compositor at MPC since August 2021, Sumon has contributed to notable productions such as Vikings Season 6 and Enola Holmes, overseeing compositing operations while facilitating communication among teams in India, Toronto, and Montreal. Previously, as a Senior Compositor and Acting Lead at Mr. X, Sumon led teams and managed cross-site production communications. Other roles include Senior VFX Artist at Anibrain Digital Technologies, Freelance Visual Effects Artist, and Sr. Compositor at PIXION, where a significant volume of projects was completed. The career began as a Compositor at Prime Focus, mastering roto and cleanup techniques. Sumon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Gauhati University.
