George is a highly-regarded consumer goods executive with more than 25 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience in beauty and personal care. He is known in the industry for his far-reaching strategic vision, keen sales and marketing acumen, and an unwavering focus on consumer and customer needs.
George most recently served as President Global Fragrances for Elizabeth Arden, which was recently acquired by Revlon. Prior to joining Elizabeth Arden, Cleary served as CEO, Illuminage Beauty, a fast-growing global beauty device company. At Illuminage, George was able to accelerate growth while significantly improving profitability and developing a robust innovation pipeline for the Company.
Prior to that, George held several senior positions at Coty, including President, Coty Americas, where he had full strategic and operational responsibility for their $1.2 billion business spanning multiple categories and channels. Before joining Coty, George spent 15 years with Johnson & Johnson, where he held general management and senior sales roles. While at J&J, he made significant contributions to the success of the Aveeno, Clean & Clear, and Roc skin care brands. George began his career in sales and trade marketing with the Nestle Food Co.
