Melanie Morrison

Melanie Morrison, MBA, is a seasoned senior consultant at MPK&D with over 15 years of expertise in strategic planning, governance, communications, and philanthropy, focusing on enhancing leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement for mission-driven organizations. Prior to this role, Melanie held various positions at Palo Alto University from June 2011 to September 2025, including Senior Director of Board and Presidential Operations, overseeing a ~$1M operating budget and serving as a strategic advisor to the President and Board of Trustees. Melanie's earlier roles encompassed management of board communications, executive scheduling, faculty contract administration, and logistical support for academic events.
