Mike Lear

Mike Lear has extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer at MQube since March 2019. Prior to this role, Mike was the Group Chief Information Officer at GAIN Capital from April 2016 to March 2019, overseeing global IT operations including CFD, Futures, and FX ECN trading systems. Mike also held the position of Group Chief Information Officer at City Index from January 2009 to April 2016, managing the international IT organization prior to its acquisition by GAIN Capital, and served as Chief Architect, responsible for the design of trading systems. Earlier in the career, Mike was the Chief Technology Officer at GolfArena Ltd from February 1994 to January 2009, focusing on risk and trading systems.
