Nick Brown has extensive experience in the creative industry, starting from 1997 with Yorkshire Equipment Supplies as a Designer, where they were responsible for large-scale commercial kitchen designs. Nick worked as a Freelance Designer for RR Donnelley in 1999 before joining PGK Advertising as a Senior Designer. In 2000, they became a Senior Art Director at Leeds Guide Ltd and later moved to Union Press Ltd, where they managed the creative and production departments for several magazines and websites. In 2005, they became a Creative Director at Content Kings, where they developed creative output for various digital and print materials. Nick then worked as a Creative Director at KHWS from 2012 to 2019, overseeing creative design and development for mobile applications, websites, films, and motion graphics. In 2008, they established their own company, Nick Brown Design, where they managed creative output, UX, and technical development for various digital and print materials. Their most recent role is as the Chief Creative Officer at MQube, a next-generation mortgage company. In 2020, they also assumed the position of Chief Creative Officer at MPowered Mortgages.
Nick Brown's education history begins in 1990 when they attended Harrogate College of Arts & Technology, where they pursued a degree in Art & Design. Nick completed their studies there in 1992. Following this, from 1992 to 1995, Nick Brown pursued a degree in Advertising Graphics at Leeds Arts University. More recently, in 2018, Nick Brown enrolled at Glasgow Caledonian University to study UX Design, completing their program in 2019. In addition to their formal education, Nick Brown also obtained a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute in May 2019.
