Stacy Smith

Stacy Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical writing within the mortgage and nonprofit sectors. As the Executive Director of Humane Tomorrow since September 1997, Stacy has demonstrated a commitment to organizational management and strategic oversight. In parallel, Stacy has served as a Technical Writer at Mr. Cooper since October 2018. Previous roles include Team Lead at Ocwen Loan Servicing, where responsibilities included managing the Hardest Hit Fund program, enhancing applicant outreach, and ensuring compliance with federal guidelines, notably representing the company at the HHF Summit. Earlier experience encompasses serving as Assistant Vice President at EMC Mortgage, where Stacy led customer service teams during the financial crisis and engaged with regulatory agencies, as well as a role as Policy and Procedure Coordinator at GMAC Mortgage.
