Fabio Rebecchi

Fabio Rebecchi has a diverse work experience in various industries. Fabio served as the CEO and Principal Data Scientist at Accademia Domani, an e-learning company, from December 2012. Fabio then became the CEO and Chief Scientific Officer at Mr Doc, an AI-powered platform for detecting eye inflammation in retina OCT scans, starting from May 2016. Fabio also worked as a faculty member and professor at Rome Business School from June 2018. Fabio held roles as an invited expert and board member at The Open Group's Data Scientist Profession Working Group from August 2020. Fabio also worked as a Data Scientist and Senior Researcher at Eustema S.p.A from June 2019. Fabio has been an entrepreneur in residence at Peekaboo Startup Community since March 2018. Fabio served as a mentor at Dock3 - The Startup Lab, TechItalia, and Founder Institute, providing guidance and support to startups. Additionally, they currently hold an teaching position at Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, starting from March 2021.

Fabio Rebecchi started their education in 1996 at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they pursued a degree in MPhys Physics, with no specified field of study. Fabio completed this degree in 2001.

In 2013, Fabio enrolled at The Open University and studied Chemistry. Fabio obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry in 2016.

Fabio continued their education at The Open University, this time focusing on Mathematics and Statistics. Fabio pursued a BSc in Mathematics from 2017 to 2021.

Additionally, Fabio has obtained various certifications in different fields. In 2021, they received the following certifications: Distinguished Certified Data Scientist from The Open Group, Artificial Intelligence: Strategies for Leading Business Transformation from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and certifications related to Generative Adversarial Networks Specialization from DeepLearning.AI.

Fabio also possesses certifications in data science tools such as KNIME Analytics Platform and KNIME Server Setup, Management, and Administration from KNIME.

In terms of aviation, Fabio holds a PPL-H Private Pilot Helicopter License and an Attestato di Pilota Aeromobili a Pilotaggio Remoto (Droni) from ENAC, the Italian National Civil Aviation Authority.

Other certifications include Scrum Master Certified, Scrum Product Owner Certified, and Expert Scrum Master Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Fabio also holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from 6SIGMAstudy, BLSD certification from Salvamento Academy srl, and Master Certified Data Scientist certification from The Open Group.

Fabio has also obtained certifications in specific AI applications, such as AI for Medical Diagnosis from deeplearning.ai, and the Introduzione alla Lingua dei Segni (Introduction to Sign Language) from IGEA SpA.
