Michael O'Connor

Michael O'Connor has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry, with a focus on gaming and film production. Michael co-founded and served as CEO of Mr Kite, where they developed an upcoming simulation game and an award-winning VR experience. Michael also worked as an Executive Producer at Electric Skies, overseeing the production of an animated VR story and an interactive experience. Prior to that, they were a Producer at Sports Interactive, managing teams and shipping popular football management games. Michael also had a Producer role at Nintendo, leading teams and managing relationships for several successful game releases. Additionally, they worked as a Producer at Stalker Films, contributing to the production of critically acclaimed films. Michael started their career as a Project Manager at Mediaplanet.

Michael O'Connor completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Music/Politics at University College Dublin from 2002 to 2006. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Management at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2006 to 2008. Michael furthered their education at Technological University Dublin, obtaining a Master's degree in Digital Games from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they earned a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, completing their studies in 2010.
