Ashley Halls is a highly experienced fisheries consultant with a strong background in fish conservation, fisheries assessment, and management, currently serving as a Fisheries Specialist Consultant at the World Bank Group since August 2014. With over three decades of experience, Ashley has also provided consulting services through Aquae Sulis Ltd and MRAG Ltd, contributing to more than 30 fisheries management projects across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Previously, Ashley held the position of Senior Programme Officer for the Fisheries Programme at the Mekong River Commission, leading regional ecological research initiatives. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Fisheries Ecology from Imperial College London and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Applied Marine Science and Fisheries Science, respectively, from the University of Plymouth.
