Austin McCarthy has had extensive experience in business and legal affairs. Austin is currently working at MRC as the Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, a role they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director and then Director of Business and Legal Affairs at MRC from 2018 to 2021. Before joining MRC, Austin worked at Prana Studios as the Director of Business and Legal Affairs from 2017 to 2018. Austin also has experience at Paradigm Talent Agency, where they worked as an Assistant Attorney, Business Affairs from 2014 to 2017. Austin's early career includes roles as a Law Clerk at RJS LAW, Hanwha Group, USD Federal Tax Legal Clinic, Sigmed, L.L.C., and USD Education and Disability Legal Clinic.
Austin McCarthy attended Chantilly High School for their secondary education. Austin then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Auburn University at Montgomery, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. After completing their undergraduate studies, Austin pursued a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.
