Robert P. is an experienced information security professional with a comprehensive background in cybersecurity and IT support. Currently serving as the Security Operations Lead at MRC Global since April 2023, Robert previously worked as an Information Security Analyst at Houston Community College, focusing on hardware configuration, PCI compliance, and application security assessments. Prior to this role, Robert analyzed threats in a 24/7 environment at the City of Laporte and managed data center operations at IBM, overseeing the maintenance of 4,000 servers. Robert began a career in IT as a Human Resources IT Set-Up and Troubleshooter at NACCHO. Academically, Robert holds a Master’s Degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Trinity Washington University.
