Alain Jacques

Alain Jacques is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in software development and automation testing. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at MRI Software since March 2022, Alain won the top prize at the 2022 MRI hackathon for developing an AI sentiment analysis tool and successfully led a team to migrate legacy AngularJS code to React while maintaining feature development. Prior experience at Rockend included roles as a Software Engineer, where Alain updated development tools to Webpack 5 and introduced unit testing with Jest, and as a QA Automation Engineer, where robust test suites were built for various projects. Alain began a career at Nielsen as a Data Entry contractor during a database migration. Alain holds a Diploma in Information Technology, Games Design & Development, and a Certificate IV in Information Technology, Computer Programming from TAFE NSW, along with a high school diploma from Northmead High School.
