Arik Kogan

Arik Kogan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Arik began their career at Pivot Software as a Communications Manager from July 2003 to December 2005. Arik then worked at Dick Smith Electronics as a Retail Store Manager from June 2005 to June 2007. Arik joined Console Australia/New Zealand as a Quality Assurance Analyst & Technical Writer from July 2007 to June 2008, and later became a Product Owner & Business Analyst from July 2008 to June 2011. Arik then transitioned to Cougar Software, where they worked as a Senior Business Analyst from July 2011 to February 2013, and was promoted to the role of Senior Business Analyst & Scrum Coach from March 2013 to September 2014. Arik subsequently became a Solutions Consultant, Global Professional Services at Cougar Software from October 2014 to April 2015. Arik then joined MRI Software as Manager, Global Professional Services from May 2015 to December 2016. Arik held multiple roles at MRI Software, including Director, Product Management - Investment Solutions from January 2017 to February 2019, Senior Director, Product Management - Investment Solutions from February 2019 to March 2020, and VP, Financial & Investment Solutions from March 2020 to January 2024. Currently, they serve as the Head of Specialist Solutions Architecture at MRI Software, starting from January 2024.

Arik Kogan obtained a Master of International Studies degree from the University of Sydney in 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at The University of Queensland from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Agile Development from Dimension Data Learning Solutions and Certified Scrum Product Owner from ScrumAlliance in 2011.
