Hal Gunder

Hal Gunder has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 as a Law Clerk at Douglass & Associates Co., LPA. Hal then worked as a Real Estate Law Clerk at Western Reserve Community Development Corporation in 2008. In the same year, Hal became a Certified Legal Intern at Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, where they defended clients facing misdemeanor criminal charges. In 2009, they served as a Fellow at Lake County Public Defender's Office.

Hal's career took a significant turn in 2010 when they joined MRI Software as an Associate General Counsel. Hal later became the Deputy General Counsel and managed various legal operations, including employment matters, compliance, privacy, and intellectual property. In 2018, Hal was promoted to Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, and in 2020, they took on the role of Vice President, Corporate Development. Throughout their tenure at MRI Software, Hal received accolades such as the Circle of Excellence award for top performance in 2011, 2014, and 2017, and they also served on the Continuous Improvement Committee in 2012.

Hal Gunder completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology at the University of Michigan in 2003. Hal further pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Ecology & Policy from the same university in 2006. Hal then went on to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Law and graduated with a Doctor of Law (JD) degree in 2009.
