Alec Jorns

Alec Jorns is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in project management and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at MRIGlobal since January 2022, Alec previously held positions as a Technical Advisor and Project Manager at ExoCell Power, where responsibilities included managing NSF SBIR proposal submissions and overseeing systems engineering for DOD/DOE projects. Alec's research experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, contributing to bioimaging research. Alec also has a background in mechanical engineering, having worked on electric bicycle range estimation and advanced model rocket engine development at the University of Kansas. Education includes a Master of Science in NanoEngineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas.
