Christopher Weiss

Christopher Weiss, PhD, serves as Capability Manager at MRIGlobal, leading the R&D Group in Integrated Health Surveillance and Diagnostics since June 2022. Previously, Christopher held the role of Senior Scientist in the Cross-Functional Science Group, specializing in Virology as a Subject Matter Expert and Principal Investigator. Christopher's experience includes a position as a Scientist at Meissa Vaccines, a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, and a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology and Microbiology was obtained. Additional roles include teaching assistantships and undergraduate research in the field of Molecular Biology with a focus on Biochemistry and Chemistry. Prior to academia, Christopher worked as a sales associate and graphic design artist at Golden Creations.
