Jon White has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmaceutical science and chemistry. Jon began their career as a Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from September 2003 to August 2005. Jon then joined Midwest Research Institute as a Senior Chemist from September 2005 to May 2007, where they focused on the investigation and synthesis of bioactive small molecules. Subsequently, they worked at Aptuit as a Senior Chemist from May 2007 to January 2010. Jon White's most recent position was at MRIGlobal, where they served as a Principal Investigator from January 2010 to October 2020 and later as the Director of Pharmaceutical Science from October 2020. Alongside their roles in the industry, Jon White also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences from October 2015 to October 2020.
Jon White obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completing their studies in 1998. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry at The University of Kansas, graduating between 1998 and 2003.
