Christopher Prewitt

Christopher Prewitt has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. In 2021, they began working as the Chief Technology Officer at Inversion6. In 2022, they joined the Forbes Technology Council as a Thought Leader and the Ohio Cyber Reserve as a Cyber Security Reservist. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Member of the IT Advisory Committee and Cybersecurity Subcommittee for Cuyahoga Community College. During this time, they also worked at MCPc as the Security Principal & VP Consulting Services. In 2018, they were the VP, Chief Information Security Officer at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. (AFSI). In 2017, they were the Vice President Advisory Services at TrustedSec, LLC. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Staff Member at DerbyCon. From 2007 to 2017, they were the Global Director IT Security and Manager IT Security and Disaster Recovery at Lincoln Electric. From 2004 to 2007, they were the Manager, Corporate Systems at MTD Products Inc.

Christopher Prewitt has a diverse educational background. Christopher began their educational journey in 1995 when they attended Lorain County Community College and obtained an AS in Pre-Engineering in 1999. Christopher then attended Cleveland State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a BBA in Information Systems. In 2011, they returned to Cleveland State University and obtained an MBA in Finance in 2012. In 2007, they obtained their CISSP from (ISC)². In 2012, they obtained their CISM from ISACA. In 2014, they obtained their Proofpoint Accredited Administrator from Proofpoint. In 2013, they obtained their Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer from Palo Alto Networks. In 2020, they obtained their Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, their eJPT from eLearnSecurity, and their EC-Council Certified Incident Handler. In 2021, they obtained their Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, their Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security, their ATT&CK™ Cyber Threat Intelligence Certification from MITRE Engenuity, and their ATT&CK™ Security Operations Center Assessment Certification from MITRE Engenuity. In 2022, they obtained their NodeZero Certified Operator and NodeZero Certified Seller from Horizon3.ai, as well as their ATT&CK™ Adversary Emulation Methodology Certification from MITRE Engenuity.
