Caitlin Ritchie has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Caitlin began their career at New Look in 2010 as a Sales Advisor, where they managed cash, created daily rotas, and contributed to floor activities. Caitlin was eventually recommended and transferred to two larger stores, including the Flagship store in Glasgow Queen Street. In 2014, Caitlin undertook a work placement at Barratt Homes as a Marketing Assistant, gaining experience in CRM, social media marketing, and print and radio advertisement. Caitlin then joined Topman in 2015 as a Sales Advisor and was quickly promoted to the role of Service Role Model. In this position, they briefed staff on daily figures, head office notices, promotions, and events, and collaborated with the marketing and events team to organize in-store events. Caitlin's next role was at the College Development Network in 2016 as an Events Coordinator. Caitlin was responsible for planning, managing, and running key events in the education sector and served as the event lead for Board Governance events and CDN Marketing Awards. Currently, they are working at MRM Global as a Senior Support Executive, starting in January 2019 and then being promoted to Support Manager in December 2022.

Caitlin Ritchie attended Lornshill Academy from 2005 to 2011. Caitlin then enrolled at Forth Valley College from 2011 to 2012, where they pursued a HNC Business degree. From 2013 to 2016, Caitlin attended Glasgow Caledonian University, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in International Retail Marketing. In 2015, they also spent a semester at École Supérieure de Commerce, (ESCE), Paris, France, where they studied International Business and Marketing.
