Derek LaMont is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in art direction and design. Currently serving as a Senior Art Director at MRM since April 2021, Derek previously held the position of Senior Designer & Art Director at McCann Detroit from March 2014 to April 2020. Additional experience includes freelance creative art direction and design in 2020, as well as roles at MXM and Organic as a Designer from late 2013 to May 2013. Derek's early career featured an Art Director role at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in 2010 and an internship in Art Direction at Digitas in 2010. Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a focus on Advertising & Design from the College for Creative Studies, earned between 2006 and 2011.
