Jim Ward

Jim Ward has extensive experience in the utility industry, currently serving as a Distribution Engineering Design lead at M&S Engineering since May 2021, where expertise in designing overhead and underground utility systems is applied. Previously, Jim held the position of Manager of Distribution Engineering Design at BEC Bandera Electric Coop from April 2014 to July 2023 and worked at Energy Delivery – Utilities in Austin, Texas, as a Distribution Planning Professional from November 2010 to April 2014. Earlier career roles include positions at CenterPoint Energy as both a Senior/Staff Consultant and Power Consultant, as well as an Electric Journeyman Lineman at Houston Lighting and Power for over 16 years. Jim Ward earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology Leadership & Innovation Management from the University of Houston between 2003 and 2006.
