John Coffaro

John Coffaro has a strong background in data communications and security technologies. John worked as Manager/Chief Engineer at MSA Security, overseeing over 300 physical and digital security technologies for multiple Fortune 500 Corporations. In addition, they gained experience as a Chief Engineer/Field Technician and Field Service Technician/SmartTech Technology Specialist, focusing on X-Ray technologies and software installation. Prior to their time at MSA Security, they worked as a Data Communications Field Technician at Odyssey Data Communications and Hilliard Farber & Co, where they installed and maintained a wide range of equipment and assisted with LAN and WAN connections.

John Coffaro attended City Tech, CUNY from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained an Associates in Applied Science of Automotive Technology. John'sfield of study was Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various technical fields. Some of these certifications include the Hi-Scan Hi-TraX 3 Technical eLearning Training Course from Smiths Detection in November 2022, the Hi-Scan HiTraX 1&2 Technical eLearning Recertification Exam from Smiths Detection in May 2022, and the Cabinet X-Ray Operator Radiation Safety Training Course from RCE Consulting LLC in March 2019. Other certifications include the L-3 Security & Detection System's Technical Training from L3 Technologies in March 2016, the XR3D Operation & Maintenance Training Course from VOTI Detection in August 2013, and the Hi-Scan HiTraX Technical certification from Smiths Detection in September 2012, among others.
