John Bergbom

John Bergbom is an experienced security researcher with a focus on vulnerability research, particularly in the Android/Linux kernel, currently employed at MSAB since September 2019. Bergbom's professional background includes significant roles such as Senior Security Researcher at Forcepoint, where contributions included malware analysis and reverse engineering, and participation in infrastructure and web application penetration testing across multiple positions. As an advisory board member for GIAC Certifications since May 2014, Bergbom combines extensive technical expertise with leadership experience as the CEO and co-founder of QD-Tech Oy. Bergbom holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
