David Ehrlich

David Ehrlich is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of FEM Product Development at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence since January 2020. Prior to this role, David held multiple senior positions at MSC Software, including Senior Group Manager for High Performance Computing and Scalable Physics Framework, as well as Senior Software Development Engineer. David's earlier experience includes serving as an Engineering Specialist in Simulation Software Development at Albany Engineered Composites and as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp. David began his career as a Structural Engineer at Noronha Engenharia S.A. David holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Engineering degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
