Dr. Nic Grounds is a Senior Software Architect at MSCI Inc. since June 2010, specializing in SOA platform development and internal tools creation using Java, Python, Groovy, and Shell scripting. Simultaneously, Dr. Grounds has served as an Adjunct Professor at both Oklahoma Christian University and the University of Oklahoma, instructing graduate and undergraduate courses in Computer Science. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at RiskMetrics Group and Adjunct Faculty at Moore Norman Technology Center, alongside foundational work as an Information Technician at the National Weather Service. Dr. Grounds holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma, as well as both a BS and MS in the same field, complemented by a high school diploma from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.
