Jeffrey Stern

Jeffrey Stern is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in global commercial law and compliance. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at MSCI Inc. since October 2019, Jeffrey Stern oversees legal and compliance matters while also holding the title of Managing Director and co-founding the All Abilities Employee Resource Group. Prior to this role, Jeffrey Stern worked at Morgan Stanley for nearly two decades, where responsibilities included leading technology and infrastructure legal and compliance teams. Earlier experiences include serving as a Senior Associate at Latham & Watkins and an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where Jeffrey Stern was a member of the Virginia Law Review, and an AB, Magna Cum Laude, from Harvard University, recognized as a John Harvard Scholar in Social Studies.
