John R. is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at MSCI Inc. since January 2020, John has previously held similar positions at BNP Paribas and Booz Allen Hamilton. John’s career began in information security with roles at Bank of America Corporation and Hewlett Packard. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Study Abroad Certificate in Computer Network Security from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. John has also contributed to the cybersecurity community as President of the Charlotte Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).
