John Strand has over two decades of experience in real estate and data operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Real Assets Data Operations at MSCI Inc. since May 2005, John has held various roles including Director of Data Integrity and Director of Research, focusing on managing teams that analyze global commercial real estate transactions. Prior to MSCI, John worked as a Senior Research Manager and Research Analyst, where responsibilities included training teams of global real estate researchers. Additionally, John's experience includes working at Oracle as a Consulting Contract Analyst following the acquisition of PeopleSoft, and at Trammell Crow Company in property management. John holds a degree from Texas Christian University, earned between 1988 and 1992.
