Keith Smith

Keith Smith has over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, primarily with MSCI Inc. since June 1999. Currently, Keith serves as the Head of Benchmark Compliance and has held various senior roles, including Managing Director of Regulatory Policy and Process Management and Head of the Geneva Office. Keith's leadership encompasses managing global teams dedicated to equity index operations and compliance, with responsibilities for day-to-day operations and ongoing enhancements of equity index products. Prior to MSCI, Keith worked as a Financial Auditor at PMI Switzerland and as a Senior I.T. Developer / Project Manager at Capital Group, gaining expertise in various technical tools and equity index methodologies. Keith began the career as an Invoicing Specialist at Brown Boveri Company. Educationally, Keith holds a degree from Cours Commerciaux de Genève and an Eidg. Handelsdiplom from Aargauische Kantonschule Baden.
