Matthew Pomeroy

Matthew Pomeroy is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Americas Regional Controller at MSCI Inc. since September 2019, where responsibilities include managing a legal entry control group and global treasury operations. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Executive Director, Head of US Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy at Nomura from March 2011 to August 2019, managing a large team and overseeing critical financial reporting processes. Earlier roles include Vice President of Accounting Policy at both Morgan Stanley and Nomura, an Accounting Manager at BGC Partners, and various consultancy positions. Matthew began their career with positions at Barnard & Co., LLC, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. Matthew earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Rutgers University.
