Sandeep Contractor is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Managing Director at MSCI Inc. since April 2020, overseeing private assets and hybrid infrastructure multi-cloud engineering. Sandeep has played a pivotal role in significant billion-dollar acquisitions for MSCI and has led various engineering teams across multiple countries, focusing on innovative solutions for real and private asset portfolios. Prior to MSCI, Sandeep was Global Head of Engineering at Trafigura, where management of a large engineering organization was successfully executed, transitioning services from London to Mumbai. Sandeep’s career includes key positions at J.P. Morgan, Cognizant, Finacity Corporation, and American Express, alongside a solid educational background featuring an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master's in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
