Scott Crum

CHRO at MSCI

Scott Crum is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at MSCI. Prior to their current role, they served as the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Motorola Mobility from 2010 to 2012. Scott was responsible for leading Human Resources, Security, and Real Estate for the $13 billion business through its spin-off from Motorola, Inc. and sale to Google.

Crum began their career in 1995 as the Senior Vice President of Administration and Employee Resources at General Instrument. Scott was instrumental in transforming the company's operating model and culture from a collection of autonomous divisions to a fully-integrated conglomerate that grew revenues from $4.6 billion to $12 billion during their tenure. Scott also recruited and developed an entirely new senior leadership team and overhauled and streamlined the Executive Management Council from 17 individuals (with one woman) to ten members (50% female).

Scott Crum has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Labor and Industrial Relations. Scott also has a certificate in Labor Management Relations & Labor Law from Marquette University and a Human Resources Executive Program from the University of Michigan.

Scott Crum reports to Henry Fernandez, Chairman & CEO. They work with Christine Berg - Head of Client Coverage, Americas, Diana Tidd - Head of Index, and Remy Briand - Head of ESG.
