Ser Jin Tan

Ser Jin Tan is a Senior Associate and Climate Risk Specialist at MSCI Inc., focusing on Southeast Asia since August 2021. In this role, Ser Jin assists investors in their Net-Zero journey and conducts climate stress testing exercises while applying best practices for climate reporting. Prior experience includes a summer internship at the Bank of England, where Ser Jin assessed climate disclosures from major UK banks and conducted risk analysis related to COVID-19. As Vice President of the LSE SU Green Finance Society, Ser Jin organized the inaugural Green Finance Summit 2020 and led workshops on ESG principles. Additional experience spans various roles in business development, project management, and editorial work, along with a military background as a Platoon Sergeant in the Singapore Armed Forces. Ser Jin holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography with Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
