Amy Henare

Amy Henare is a motivated and high-performing public servant serving as the Regional Director at Te Whanganui-a-Tara. With a robust background in government administration, Amy has held various roles, including Change and Design Senior Advisor and Business Implementation Manager at the Ministry of Social Development, where they focused on project management and transformational business change. Amy's experience also includes temporary redeployment as a Principal Advisor during the COVID-19 response at the National Emergency Management Agency and private secretary roles for government ministers. They earned a Master of Public Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and continue to enhance their knowledge with a New Zealand Certificate Level 3 in Tikanga.
