Amy Richardson

Principal Analyst

Amy Richardson is a Principal Analyst in Evidence and Effectiveness at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), where they collaborate with various stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and initiatives. With a background in psychology and public health, Amy has served as a Research Assistant at Auckland University of Technology and the University of Auckland, and held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the University of Otago. Their experience includes coordinating evaluations of MSD's COVID-19 response and leading research projects aimed at reducing injury prevalence. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Science with Distinction, and a PhD in Health/Medical Psychology from the University of Auckland.
