Jacob Davies

Jacob Davies is an experienced National Manager currently serving as the Regional Commissioner for Waiariki/Bay of Plenty at the Ministry of Social Development since 2023. They previously held the role of Business Operations Manager at Fire and Emergency NZ, where they were part of the regional leadership team overseeing strategic planning and operational processes. Prior to that, Jacob was the Section Manager for Compliance and Zone Delivery at Environment Canterbury, responsible for regulatory interventions and leading a team of senior managers. With a robust background in non-profit management, they led the RNLI's activities in Scotland, managing a team across various regions and driving strategic initiatives. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Sports Coaching from the University of Canterbury and is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at the University of Otago.
