Karen Ayson

Karen Ayson is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as the Regional Contracts Manager and Financial Analyst for the Southern region at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). With several years of experience in senior management roles, Karen has previously worked as a Finance Manager at the University of Otago, where responsibilities included financial management for two academic divisions. They have a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Economics and are pursuing an MBA. Karen's background also includes extensive leadership experience as an Operations Manager in the New Zealand Employment Service.
