Mohsen Kafi

Mohsen Kafi, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in translation, interpretation, and client experience analysis. With a background in English-to-Persian interpretation, Mohsen completed over 200 assignments in health and social sectors and more than 50 in the legal sector while working for Interpreting New Zealand. As a freelance independent translator, notable translations have been published in The Guardian and Newsroom. Currently serving as a Senior Client Experience Analyst at the Ministry of Social Development, Mohsen leads collaborative projects using qualitative research and design thinking methodologies. Previous roles include Insights Lead at Hardwired, Digital Research Services Coordinator at Victoria University of Wellington, and ESOL Teacher at Iran Language Institute. Mohsen holds a PhD in Translation Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and an MA in Translation Studies from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
