Rupert Applin

Rupert Applin is a seasoned business analyst with over ten years of experience in business analysis and more than twenty years in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Policy, Performance and Risk at the Ministry of Social Development, Rupert has previously held various leadership roles, including Principal Advisor for Digital Transformation at Capital & Coast District Health Board. Rupert possesses strong technical skills across multiple technologies and has worked with diverse organizations in both the public and private sectors. Outside of professional commitments, Rupert is actively engaged in the local school community and enjoys a variety of interests such as running, tramping, reading, and cooking.
